I'm improving, and having more fun. My plan is to practice with charcoal on still lifes, for a bit, before trying a portrait with it again. I just need to get a better feel for it. Oh, and to go get some newsprint, at Dali so kindly suggested, and do some gesture drawings with it.

Ha, I just did not feel like drawing the ballcap, so I took it off.
A customer/friend came in while I was drawing and remarked that he had never seen me without the ballcap!
The proportions look great and it does look like you... good job!!!
